Technology is a mixed blessing

Updated: Oct 7, 2020

My daughter developed this domain for me as a birthday present, given the hundreds of cards I make that just sit in boxes. They don't gather dust, but with COVID, they haven't seen the outside of my home: no craft fairs, no visits by friends to my home, no craft stores open within a reasonable distance that might feature my cards.

But here's the thing. I'm daunted by the task of loading pictures and descriptions to the website. It took me two hours to put up four cards. At that rate, it will be weeks in front of the computer to get the collection on line, and that only if I stop making any more cards. And that's NOT going to happen.

So here's the deal, if you arrive here and you see something that sparks your interest but not exactly what you want, just message me. I do special orders. Do you like gnomes? I've got gnomes! Does your friend or family member like cats, dogs, maybe dinosaurs, otters or elephants? I can do that. I've got lots of French images and messages (I used to be a French teacher.) . I make pop ups and bendy cards, box cards, easel cards and never-ending cards and more. My cards are generally one of a kind, but I did the 100 "save the date" and wedding invitations for my daughter. And my financial advisor ordered 50 thank you cards after his wedding on an island: I did a watercolor image of palm trees and sailboats and a beach on his cards. I sometimes do sets. And if you're a card maker, too, you know what I mean when I say I do one sheet wonders: I take one sheet of 12 x 12 decorative paper and turn it into 6, 8, 10, 12 or more cards. That's what you see in the image above. (The green stripe was the reverse side of the poinsettia paper.)

I will continue to upload more images and descriptions, but don't be put off by the limited number there.
